Bioanalysis

Analysis of drugs and their metabolites in biological samples from pre-clinical and clinical studies is an important part of the drug development process.

The Bioanalytical division at Huntingdon Life Sciences is an operational grouping responsible for developing new technologies to assist with drug discovery and development. It comprises the areas of clinical and non-clinical bioanalysis, ligand binding and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).

Our experienced bioanalytical scientists are skilled in method development, optimisation, validation and application of these methods to the analysis of drugs in samples from pharmacokinetic (PK), toxicokinetics, clinical, bioavailability and bioequivalance studies. Working closely with our PK group we are able to offer customised reports containing all bioanalytical data as well as PK evaluation and interpretation.

Analytical techniques:

  • LC-MS/MS
  • Immunoassay
  • PCR
  • HPLC
  • GC or GC/MS
