Residue analysis contributes to many aspects of both the human and environmental
risk assessments for crop protection products. Analytical methods and sample
analysis are required for a wide variety of sample matrices. Our Residue Analysis
group is highly skilled in the use of the latest GC and LC/MS/MS technology
as well as the older analytical techniques. We have the capability to develop
new methods and we are also able to offer a fast turnaround on the routine analysis
of samples.
- Method development and validation. Methods can be for a parent active substance
only or for the active substance and a number of metabolites
- Independent laboratory validation
- Analysis of samples
- Crop samples from residue trials
- Personal protective equipment, air sampler packing material and body fluids
from operator exposure studies
- Animal tissues and fluids from feeding studies in livestock
- Storage stability and sample processing stability tests
- Processed commodities
- Soil from field dissipation / accumulation studies
- Water from field leaching and lysimeter studies
- Soil and water from laboratory environmental fate samples where the radiolabelled
analyte is not available
- Samples (water, sediment, fish and other aquatic species) from laboratory
and field ecotoxicology studies
